seven bloggers I love to read
This post introduces seven writers that I enjoy for their content and aesthetic. I’ll start with the inspiration for this post, Autumn Rebecca of Sunshine in the Haze.
Sunshine in the Haze
Uplifting content for the everyday Christian
https://sunshineinthehaze.com/ -Autumn Rebecca
I can’t help but thinking of Autumn as a writing sister, or at the very least, a cousin. I have such fun when we collaborate, (though it’s been far too long.)
She’s been blogging for seven years, and this is a good post to start reading!
Going into Ministry: How to Endure & Win at Ordinary Life
This Messy Thing Called Life
For the Surpassing Worth of Knowing Christ
https://messylife.blog/ -Rue Arrow
I featured Rue’s blog in a Spotlite a while back, but it’s still a blog I definitely recommend. Rue’s family are missionaries in West Africa, and on her blog she talks about life lessons her experiences have taught her.
Pearl Christine
Lifestyle Inspiration for the Everyday Girl
https://pearlchristine.com/ -Pearl Christine
Pearl Christine has undoubtedly influenced many other blogs around her in the 2+ years she’s been blogging. I love the perspective in her post how to start blogging in high school *ultimate guide.* As well as blogging, Pearl also writes about photography, lifestyle, reading, and fashion on her gorgeous blog.
Pearl offers blog and website design services through Daisies & Design Co, in fact, she is responsible for the lovely layout of the next blog on this list.
The Grace Haus
A Community for Young Women Desiring Jesus
https://thegracehaus.com/ - Leah Grace
(Note: Leah Grace has recently announced that she will no longer be posting reguarly, but she still sends out a newsletter, as well as occasionally posting.)
The Grace House is about writing, Christianity, and lifestyle.
This post, My At-Home Writing Retreat (+ Tips If You’re Going to Host One Yourself,) is an idea that I really want to try but haven’t been able to yet.
Kellyn Roth: Blog~Newsletter~Wild Blue Yonder Press
Stories for Christian women that tackle real-life problems
https://msha.ke/kellynrothauthor
Kellyn is enthusiastic and very fun to talk with, and her blog and newsletter is no less enthusiastic and fun. Oh, and have you noticed the way she curates her instagram feed into a pattern?
I couldn’t decide on just one link, so the above link leads to a link tree, where one can access her blog, newsletter, IG, and small publishing house.
Emma Thrasher’s newsletter
Emma used to have a blog, Roses of Grace, which is no longer active, but she does send out her newsletter once or twice a month. She writes about Christian living.
Check out her articles on the Rebelution.
Reece Turner’s newsletter
Reece’s newsletter is short, bright, and full of charm and personality. In fact, she’s the one who inspired me to include the highlight segments in my newsletters.
Sometimes I struggle keeping up with newsletters when there are so many other things demanding my energy, but Reece’s newsletters always seem to energize, instead of drain.
I’d love to hear what blogs you’re subscribed to! Let me know any recomendations in the comments below.
