Now that the winter holidays have officially begun, and we can officially listen to Christmas music… what are your plans for the season?
Often people plan for decorating, shopping, baking, and get-togethers with family and friends. I also think it’s important to plan for times of quiet and reflection on what God’s done in the previous year, and to listen for guidance for the coming year.
It’s about now when New Year’s Resolutions start percolating in my head, and I reflect on the resolutions I made last year, along with picking a new word of the year. Introspection requires a balanced view because of how easy it is to develop an addiction to myself. (I’m thankful for how God’s used my Gen Psych class to give me a more humble view of myself.)
I’d love to hear about your Resolutions, whether from this year or last year! Share in the comments below.

✨November is Corban play season. This fall the production is called Fools, about a Eastern-European village cursed with stupidity, and the schoolmaster determined to break the so-called curse through any means possible.
✨Preparing and attending for school-wide Career Day (which makes up 10-20% of my grade in various classes.) I found a blazer of my own (no interesting things in the pockets, though.)
✨My poetry class were the featured readers at a restaurant in Salem. It was a fun night out with friends, plus everyone did a stellar job and the restaurant was packed.
✨I was gifted some aesthetic pens that I absolutely love.
✨Friendsgiving with college friends before the break in one friend’s tiny apartment. (I contributed mashed potatoes)
✨Making bone broth out of chicken leftovers. My mom said I was a housewife in the making.
✨My friend Brooklyn did some last minute editing for me on a layover (Thank you!)

In celebration of Christmas, I have assembled Christmas Bingo. (Bingo winners can win a month of comped subscription for themselves or the person of their choosing.)
Happy holidays,
