{highlights} friends and to-do list progress
[blog posts] Ignite, AI, and from the archives
{announcements} writing this month, summer life, and a peek at my bullet journal.
[about Flight Patterns]
It’s been a scrapbook July, full of special little things. I’ve spent so much time with friends (which is really what summer is for.) I’ve also been working and writing.
{highlights}
✨organizing the storage room at work.
✨spending quality times with friends watching movies, painting, playing games, drinking green tea, horseback riding, making candles, sitting around a fire, star/moon gazing, window shopping/trying on dresses, and chatting/catching up on our lives.
✨King’s Daughters’ Writing Camp - camp pushes me to write when I don’t feel like it, and also to keep track of my writing better. (full month wordcount below!)
✨Making progress on my to-do list, specifically learning English Country Dance calling, drawings for a major art commission, reading and reviewing an ARC, and getting a phone that can connect to the internet.
✨listening to and enjoying a vibey playlist that a friend put together. It’s like…ballad/musical theater music so I didn’t think i’d like it but I really did.

[street team] The release date for Ignite is getting closer and closer… I’m super stoked for this book!
[WIP update] So far, I’ve written 6283 words this month, though I hope to bump that up to 7000-8000 in the next week. It’s been mostly blog posts but I did write a poem and am working on revisiting and expanding an article I wrote for another site.
[life update] My goal for the first 2 weeks of July was to get back onto a normal routine. Which, I am happy to say, I have.
The next step I wanted to tackle was to get more settled into my home. I organized and took stock of my pantry, sorted my clothes by occasion and season, and am now going through my craft supplies (lots of crocheting) and books, finding good places for everything and getting rid of stuff I don’t need.
As an incentive to finish organizing, I bought some fairy lights to put up once everything looks nice.
What will August hold? Not sure yet, other than work//writing//drawing//keeping myself alive//hanging with friends. < 3
[bullet journal] I’ve posted about bullet journalling in the past but I haven’t shared much of my journal on Flight Patterns. But I recently upgraded my phone and plan to share more images.

Love the bullet journal! It looks so artsy! I used to keep one, but I don't have the doodling skills to pull it off. XP Love how yours looks!
